Q: How often do you come see live theater?

A (right): We have three shows this week.

A (left): We don’t usually go that much—this is an epic week. We probably see a couple of shows a month.

Q: How did you decide you wanted to come and see The Sound and the Fury?

A (left): I heard about it on a podcast that I’ve been listening to mostly about Off Broadway in New York City—Maxamoo’s New York City Theater Podcast. They do a preview every month, it is bad for the wallet but it is a good podcast. They didn’t really like this play, but they also said they had never read The Sound and The Fury and I love Faulkner. It’s going to be weird, I think—I heard that it is from the perspective of Benjy and I see how that could throw off someone who had never read it.

Q: When is the last time you read the book?

A (left): I think I re-read it in grad school, seven years ago. I remember some of it. I wrote a paper about it in undergrad, which is not very good, about the symbolism of water.
