A: One of my friends is in it and one of my other friends who I am meeting to see it reminded me that it was going on.
Q: What is your friend who is in it doing?
A: I’m not sure what her role is, but she is one of the bats in The Flea.
Q: Have you seen a show at The Flea before?
A: I have not. I auditioned to be a part of the bats before, but I just moved to the city, from Kentucky, so I’m just starting to check it out.
Q: As someone who is relatively new to the city, how has it felt to tap into the New York City theater world?
A: It has been incredible. The sheer amount of work that you can go see at any given time is just incredible. In my home town you are lucky if certain Broadway shows come through. Here there are all different levels, all different kinds of theater. The plethora of opportunities has been awesome. It comes down to just trying to pick which ones I can actually afford to see.
