Theatre Myth Busted #29

Myth: It’s okay to use your cell phone during a performance. Truth: Keep your phone off (not just on vibrate) and in your pocket. Even if you can’t wait to tell a friend about the show, using your phone (even just texting) during a live performance can distract not only fellow audience members, but also the actors! Wait until intermission or after the play to share your thoughts.
